database of funds and collections of the National Museum of Montenegro

DATA
NMCG program is intended to create an electronic catalog of the museum,
archives and library materials, according
to the requirements of the National Museum of Montenegro, and related
institutions. It is a system for the storage of alphanumeric and
graphical data, which currently operates on a local network of the
National Museum in Cetinje. The program offers services to enter, search
and display data, and export-acquisition modules intended for the
general exchange formats (xml, html, pdf, doc, rtf ...)
In
the normative sense, the program relies on the ICOM-CIDOC (UNESCO)
museum documentation standard, and in the segment intended for the
archive and library on custom solutions and standards for this area.
The
basic version of NMCG DATA is designed and tested 1998th and was first
officially applied 2004th , after the public presentation to Montenegrin
engaged in cultural institutions.

about the Museum Documentation Standard and its application in this form
can be found in copyrighted articles published in the National
Museum annual publication "Glasnik" No. 1 and 4 (for 2005 and
2008 year).
